About the Short Stay Summit 2026
The Short Stay Summit is the UK Short Term Accommodation Association’s annual conference, held at Old Billingsgate on the Thames. The 2026 edition on 22 April drew more than 1,300 delegates under the theme “Tourism Reimagined: A People-Led, Future-Focused Industry”. Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia Group, Trip.com, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Key Data and UKHospitality were on the programme; the main-stage panels covered UK regulation and the new registration scheme, how the platforms see the UK market, brand and growth, and the data on channels, cancellations and shortening booking windows. The Summit mixes operators, platforms, suppliers and policymakers in one room, which is what makes it the UK event to be at.
What we did
Miro went as a delegate. The Summit is where the UK’s larger operators are in one place for a day, so we used it for the meetings we’d been lining up over the spring: managers running 50 to 200 listings, most of them Booking.com-heavy, plus a few of the PMS teams we work with.
